I love getting involved in grass-roots music events. There's nothing like the satisfaction of being able to pull together a smooth running festival from what's available locally.
It's a big team effort between the Vortex Events crew, Bruce, Spencer and myself. The biggest components of the show were:
- Deploying and tuning the Electro-Voice X-Line PA system
- Building a patch system to get us through all the changeovers in the festival
- Creating a process to switch from foldback wedges and IEMs quickly
